Kristen Snow

Kristen Alyce Snow (she/her) is a faith leader, activist, and artist rooted in Philadelphia, PA (unceded Lenni Lenape Land). She holds a BFA in sculpture from Tyler School of Art. Over the years, she has channeled her creative energy into entrepreneurial projects such as cooperatively-owning a brewery and running an environmentally-focused woodworking business called Fuugs with her husband Gregory. In her faith community, Circle of Hope, she has held several leadership and professional roles, including serving as office and building manager. Knowing that community healing and organizing is part of her life’s work, she chose to pursue her theological formation outside of a formal seminary track through cohort-driven education both self guided and with Bartimaeus Cooperative Ministries, Ritual for Change Makers with Rev. Rhetta Morgan and Daring Compassion: Movement Chaplaincy. By pursuing an alternative path, she is able to focus on the work she is passionate about: ritual leading, anti-racism work, womanist and liberation theologies, watershed discipleship, relationship development, and healing trauma. In her free time, you’ll find her learning about her watershed, metalworking, reading science fiction, and singing songs with friends.
