Oreon Trickey

A long-time resident of Chicago, Rev. Oreon is a seasoned urban ministry practitioner who also serves as a spiritual director, retreat facilitator, and Enneagram consultant. Whether delivering a talk before an audience or sitting across from an individual in a coffee shop, her passion is helping folks heal and grow in loving themselves, our Lord, their circle of relationships, and the world around them. In June 2019, Oreon retired from full-time pastoral ministry at LaSalle Street Church and is now living and serving at Jesus People USA, an intentional Christian community in the city's Uptown neighborhood. Word in the alley is that she writes some decent poetry, plays a mean blues guitar, loves to laugh deeply, and appreciates a serious cup of coffee.
