Revival In the Garden
Our country is in crisis. But it’s not just a political crisis — it is also a spiritual crisis. We are in need of revival.
As the Democratic National Convention convenes, we’re hosting a Revival in the Garden — literally meeting in a community garden in Milwaukee and broadcasting around the world. We’ll hear from people who have been impacted by racism, war, and violence in all its ugly forms… that sin that goes all the way back to Cain and Abel in the Garden of Eden. But in the spirit of the prophets who said: “Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams,” we will hear from the young and old together as they dream the dreams of God. With art, music, preaching, and testimonials, we will cast a vision for the world we know God wants for all of us. And, in the spirit of the prophets who spoke of beating “swords into plowshares,” we will heat up the forge, pick up the hammer, and beat a donated gun into garden tools.
Join us on Saturday, August 15th, for our online revival live stream and as Red Letter Christians gather at Alice’s Garden Urban Farm in Milwaukee, Wisc., to dream, play, and help imagine a better world. (**Physical distancing will be practiced in the garden. Wear your masks!**)
