They will preach to you up and down if you dare bring up abortion and a biblical standard against it, but by god they are allowed to do it at every whim and tell you don’t care. Follow the laws!!

A permanent replacement legislation needs to be worked out. I don’t have any confidence that the republicans will make that happen.

But here’s why: It’s wasn’t meant to be a solution or permanent.

Remember, Obama called it a “temporary stop-gap measure.” Which is fine, except he never put a deadline on it.

Without a deadline, Congress didn’t need to act. Trump has made a deadline, so congress now needs to act. Otherwise congress can just kick the can further down the road. But that’s not a solution.

DACA wasn’t a solution, and DACA isn’t the solution.

Trump ending DACA isn’t to kick people out but to get congress to do its job and find a viable solution.

I believe leaving the Dreamers in limbo is worse than forcing congress to find a solution.

Getting rid of the program won’t help unless a new policy that allows for citizenship is enacted. I don’t really get opposition to this program or allowing “dreamers” to become citizens.
