Finding Jesus in Rural America
We have to know God is here. Right here.
Carolyn Campbell is a journalist, photographer & community builder who’s dedicated over half a decade to living and working at the edges of America in small, often forgotten rural communities. Her writings and work have been featured in publications and radio stations throughout the country. The daughter of a feminist theologian and a military commander, she was raised to challenge doctrines and conditions that breed inequity. In both her writing and community building, Carolyn goes beneath the surface issues of politics and blame to get people talking about the deeper issues that must be addressed to foster real change. She believes that the way to change tomorrow is by having conversations today.
