Bill Diss was dismissed for objecting to Planned Parenthood taking students out of Math Class (?!?!?) for indoctrination in sterilization, contraception, and abortion. Several protests to the school board have resulted in the school board siding entirely with Planned Parenthood. A lawsuit is in the works over Planned Parenthood using Bill Diss’s name in a brochure aimed at Vienamese students, but that will likely be settled out of court with Planned Parenthood admitting no wrongdoing.

How many teachers? Of course, if it is just one, that is too many. What actions have been taken to talk through the problem?

Supposedly, it’s a showcase for Red Letter practitioners, but is the Luis Palau Association really a part of the RLC movement? It seems like Tony Campolo is just standing in front of a crowd of Christians pretending to be their leader.

I hope that this sort of thing catches on. I would love to see the churches in my area get involved like this.

Is this group open to working with non-evangelical religious communities? That would be a true test of how much evangelicals are doing all of this for the sake of others, and how much is simply brand-building. “We want to be known as the people you should thank.”

I wonder too about statements like this: “we want to see 800-plus foster families raised up from our local churches.” Nobody, outside the church, uses coded language like “raised up.” Wouldn’t it be nice if we got out of our language ghettos, as well as out of our buildings?
