Over the weekend two short clips caught my eye. They are quite different from one another but nonetheless each speaks into it’s particular arena in the world today.

2. Jared Leto at the Oscars, after receiving the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club
Truly a beautiful speech: began by telling the story of his mother, a single mom raising him and his older brother. Shifted to encouraging and inspiring dreamers around the world, especially from those in Ukraine and Venezuela. Then ended by recognizing the millions who’ve lost the battle to AIDS and those who’ve felt “injustice because of who you love.” Plus there’s so much in between you need to see:
